Returned to dealer, new battery fitted and the 'latest update' applied, since then no electrical problems. Prior to the March update we were back to the dealers with error messages about every 8 weeks. Will leave well alone until next service in January 2014. Only current issues are rattles, new one every time the car is driven. Most rattley car I have ever driven apart from a Rover 600 about 15 years ago. Difference was the Rover 600 cost £7k the Evoque £47k.
