RE: Evoque Diesel recall - MPK - 19-08-2013 04:07am Q261 - I had this update applied to mine during the last service. More information here http://babyrr.com/forum/thread-7300.html RE: Evoque Diesel recall - Ringo - 19-08-2013 01:33pm (16-08-2013 12:01pm)Amadeus Wrote: Mines in that range - no letter yet.I'm also in that range Amadeus, like you no letter. Not over concerned, as i would think that if there was any leak you would smell it way before anything happens. Just filling up and I can smell diesel on my hands for ages afterwards. RE: Evoque Diesel recall - ziyao - 20-08-2013 12:41am Filled up with Caltex Premium diesel last night, I've noticed it smell a lot less than BP and Shell standard diesel. Give it a try. We have always got a 'free' loaner when ours has been back for electrical problems and rattles. A lot will depend on your dealer and customer rights in different countries. Tony RE: Evoque Diesel recall - Amadeus - 23-08-2013 02:44am Spoke to LR customer care today and they are waiting for information from the UK on the recall. Its voluntary but Australian dealers will send out letters when they know more as they want to cover the bases. Should only take one hour to fix and they say risk of the problem even occurring is miniscule. So possibly just a small glitch to my otherwise perfect vehicle! Evoque Diesel recall - Davevx - 23-08-2013 03:49pm I posted in another thread the recall for UK went live today. Either check Topix or ring your dealer with your reg number. Mine has the recall and is booked in. Are we suggesting we contact our dealer or does it get picked up the next time the car goes in? Evoque Diesel recall - Filski - 31-08-2013 04:56am FYI. Spoke to a couple of dealers who didn't know about the recall, and don't have the parts yet. The letter will come from LRA, and parts available at the dealer at the same time, so wait. On another note, enquiries about an oil change at 6mths led to a price range of $250-$695. Dealers were higher end, included a safety check. A new dealer I spoke to said he'd do it for $350 given brakes will not be an issue at 6mths |
