Got my VIN and had a check of a few things on TOPIx, one of which was the addition of Cirrus headliner which I know has been a problem with some cars.
All looks good so roll on tuesday.

I believe there has been a couple of people who spec'd the Cirrus headliner but their cars turned up with the headliner in Ivory.

Yep - that's what set off my whole car rejection scenario. But it most definitely WASN'T the fault of the factory, it was the dealer who was sloppy with checking the spec against the order, and inputting EVERYTHING correctly into the system.
I have seen the difference between the Ivory and Cirrus now, as my replacement car is now in, just off the transporter, and the Cirrus headlining definitely goes properly with the Elements/Cirrus interior. The Ivory headlining looks too yellow/orange against the cool grey.
The original 'plan' proposed by my dealer was to swap out the headlining (after offering me a derisory £500 to go away), but when they looked into it, there were just too many parts required, and too much work. And I wouldn't have accepted it anyway.

Well the day has arrived.
Over the moon with the colour spec and everything so far. Even got plus 40mpg on the way home so I'm obviously not trying hard enough.
I have only good things to say about the dealership (Armstrong Massey) who have been great, no hassles and a pleasure to deal with.
