Yes always bought mine off the web, a must if you are on a PCP deal, the £200/£300 you pay extra at the dealers for the same cover is pure profit margin and you are a mug if you pay their prices. Who here pays twice as much for their home contents & building insurance, not many I bet so why pay twice the price with the dealer, people must have more money than sense.

After all the advice on here I searched the web and found the same (if not better protection) for £198! Thanks all for the valued advice - the stealers can shove it where the sun don't shine!

Can you believe it! The stealer rang me this morning saying that they will now match the £199 quote I have been give! Slight difference the £400 they originally quoted! Robbing b@rs@rds!

I presented my dealer with a GAP and tyre insurance webquote and they just said we cannot compete with that, and left it there.

No problem as far as I was concerned I took up the website offer, mind you that was last April, maybe some dealers are waking up to the the fact they may have to start selling again.
