That seems like a good price - if you weren't in a hurry I'd suggest going a bit higher for a private sale. I'd expect a decent dealer would offer somewhere between £32 and £33k for it. Have you tried offering it to LPR or Hadley Green?

LPR made me a decent offer for mine although I got a much better sale privately.

Where have you got it advertised by the way?

I'd really recommend getting it on ebay as a classified ad

Really sorry about your job loss. Had a look in autotrader online at your ad. The good thing going for you is that it's nicely specced and you have the signature xenons, which a lot of the cars at that price don't. I'd highlight the fact that the car was registered in July so is only 6 months old and put the price of it new, so people can see they are getting a good deal without having to go to a configurator to work it out.
I'd also take off the fact that you are selling it as you've been made redundant. It'll give prospective buyers ideas to come in with low bids as they think you're desperate to sell.
You have a desirable car at a good price point. I'm sure you'll sell it no problem.
Good luck!

Seems a good place to start..... Thoughts !

had a look at your ad. some photos would be good. I recently sold mine after advertising on autotrader. In a week i received about 5 phone calls from traders and two private, one of which was a bit odd!. The other was from a scottish lady who sounded like a good prospective buyer but i had already made a firm-ish arrangement to sell to a west midlands trader the morning after hearing from her....which was sad as I may have been able to acheive my full asking price of £32950 [SD4 with tech pack, pano roof, privacy glass, orkey grey/ebony, manual, 5 door]. not too disappointed though as the trader paid £32k.

to sum up, I think your asking price is about right and that £33k would be a good price to settle at. I think i could have got that if i had put some photos up and been more patient!!!
