Try National Used Car Buyer or Derby Trade Cars, the latter scream out for Evoques! RE: What's the value... - Evo-king - 11-09-2012 09:57pm I'm not planning on changing any time soon. But. in a way these figures don't make sense when there is all of this talk about long lead times for new Evoques and strong residuals. Perhaps I'm over simplifying the situation, but greedy dealers springs to mind, £11k down on a 9 month old motor is a big hit. The Vogue replacement part of your deal does a good balancing act for you though. RE: What's the value... - mark_n - 12-09-2012 05:05am You'll be doing well if you get WBAC to pay the price they've given you. When you take the car in, they will find any excuse to reduce the price. RE: What's the value... - cutter7 - 12-09-2012 07:23am mark_n is right, these guys will offer you a very good buying price and hope that you will make an appointment to visit one of their viewing centres, but once there they will look for any excuse after viewing your car to offer a much lower price. They work on something like 30% commission from the actual price offered. RE: What's the value... - Craig_d1 - 12-09-2012 03:40pm http://www.brittle.co.uk/ you could try these guys. They are Land rover specialists. I do think you'll get better a better price selling it privately though...good luck RE: What's the value... - Token - 12-09-2012 05:50pm Thanks for the continued advice guys...will try the other sites you mention. Mark, I suspect you are right although there isn't really anything they can pull me up on and to be honest, my previous experience of these guys was very good (my local centre doesn't have any ramps or anything so it really is a cosmetic check only). Currently using the WeBuyAnyCar price as leverage against a dealer who has a car I want...I've told them I don't need the hastle of a two part process so am encouraging them to match the price I've been offered. May yet decide to sell privately, there are plenty of Range Rovers about so doesn't matter of the ones I'm currently looking at sell before I do. And may yet of course take Tims advice and gift the car to the missus...will see how nice she is to me for the rest of the week! |
