Thnaks Cutter, interesting they're adjustable. Looks like they won't catch every ding, but every one they do save is a bonus!... And will help cleaning the roof, or if I was to get a roof rails/box.

In those images they look very discreet. Are they fully extended?

In my minds eye I always thought they would protrude a lot more than that.
