I've also got a Mauritius Blue on order that keeps slipping back. Someone on here suggested it might be something to do with the colour - maybe they wait until they've got a certain number of each colour to do to cut down on the wasted paint and time I'd guess a change involves? That said, the speed they seem to be rolling them out at the moment I think even the rarer colours are going to be going through in some volume.

Now I've been informed delivery won't be until November!!! Do we fleet customers get pushed to the back of the queue? Sad

Nope, your solution was to ask your leasing company if you could designate your supplying dealer. My RRE is an Arval lease car and they would have, by default, ordered from Guy Salmon in Coventry.

Arval set an expectation of a Nov 2012 delivery for an order placed in Dec 2011 because the Coventry dealer had so many cars awaiting production slots.

I discovered that Guy Salmon in Strattford upon Avon (8 miles away from me) could get the order into the allocation system in 3 months and the build would be three months after that - and that's what happened with delivery in mid-May of this year.

As many of us have discovered the answer to obtaining a firm delivery date window is in finding a dealer who knows what their true order position is. i.e. if your dealer can submit say 10 Evoque orders per month and he has 30 orders outstanding already then if yours is 31st in the queue it will get allocated in the 4th month.

That makes sense!! I'll look into it tomorrow. Thanks Very Happy

Straydox is spot on. It's all about the dealer allocations and which dealers are being fair and ordering Pures not just giving preference to the more profitable dynamics and Prestiges!
