Thanks Tim for the brilliant tip. The dealership gift was a LR interior and exterior care kit with a LAVENDER spray. I mean really...

How nice, Lavender!

Somehow quite wrong Neo...

So I had the car at the dealers today. They found a lose contact behind the dash somewhere and tightened it right up. I heard today of the concept ''Monday car'' and while I found it amusing, in an academic way, the fact that my car could belong to this club doesn't exactly leave me feeling all warm and fuzzy. That together with the fact that my style 7's have been damaged by a pipe protruding out of a pavement in the CBD which also had a bite of my tyre certainly led to my not really having a great day...

Don't forget the Friday afternoon club and the recently created Midnight club ! Laughing

and now the f&*(^%$ one-touch close for the driver's window doesn't work. EvilBanging HeadMadCensored

ADZ, found that if you hold your finger on the door handle instead of touching it's a lot more reliable - mine also a little hit and miss on the one-touch close if I just 'touch'

Pity about the style 7... I kerbed one a while back (right on the edge, probably 4 cm's in length) and no joy in getting anyone wanting to fix it. Have to do entire wheel is what I get all the time (along with no guarantee's that it will colour match).

Thanks for the tip Berlin - another SAFFA finally Smile
My dealer actually said he knows someone who will come out to me to fix the rim. The scratch is between 10 and 15cm long Sad I will check the colour-matching issue very carefully.
Have a great evening!

A bit of an old timer on here, lurking nowadays more than anything else - I was insatiable a year ago whilst waiting for mine. Tomorrow is 1st service already.

Let me know how you come along with the repair - I picked up a spare set of 7's (thinking if having them done in black) but perhaps if you need a replacement one we can do a swop of sorts before I have them misfigured.

Thank you Berlin. I will contact the dealership today about the rims guy. The last bloody thing I need is some scaly backdoor job! Have a great day.
