RE: Hello From CA, USA - Westy - 06-08-2012 10:01pm I love the look, compliments the roof and sets the car off, looking at them they look as though they are the same size too. You mentioned that " They are 9" x 20" Jag rims, offset +44, tire size is 255 / 45 - R20. Come with Goodyear Eagles mounted. 1" wider than the stock 19" rims, 1/2" wider than the stock 20" Evoque rims. ". When you are standing at the front or the rear corner of the vehicle looking down along it, how much of the tire bubbles out past the fender well ? ( both front and rear )? I'm guessing maybe 5 to 10 mm ? Could you post up any pictures from these angles ? Thanks - and again - very classically done RE: Hello From CA, USA - Rekool - 12-08-2012 06:59am (10-08-2012 08:23pm)Lone Rangerover Wrote: Very classy ! What a difference !!! I'll try and get the angles you've asked about in pics tomorrow. Truth be told, they don't stick out past the face of the wheel well, but are nearly flush. The offset measurement was a quote from the dealer sales manager, and I could tell he was not all that sure. I wouldn't have them stick out past the fender face. A tacky look in my opinion. A guy at the service station looking at it today said "what an angry looking car". I rather liked it! Pics tomorrow, cheers. RE: Hello From CA, USA - Rekool - 12-08-2012 04:19pm The stick is flush with the face of the tire and the face of the wheel well at a level roughly even with the top of the rim. Make sense? Hard to hold the stick and shoot pics. The down-the-side shot is a bit hard to see, but show that the face of the tire is inside the fender (at the top anyway). |
