I would've thought the UK would be one of Range Rovers smaller customer bases behind places like the middle east, US etc., so I still think 18k UK orders out of 40k total still doesn't seem right.

it does seem a lot to me but that is what they said, to be specific i last went to my dealership over 2 months ago now and they had 225 orders at that point i think and there was a customer buying a freelander to tide themselves over until delivery.

Was that 220 deposits or firm orders?

deposits, i would expect them to have one of the largest order bases as they are based in NW London, home of the Chelsea Tractor lol
