RE: RR Evoque front suspension click/tick - repair procedure - Bowl - 16-11-2012 04:26pm Can anyone please confirm that the bolt in the picture is the correct one to be retightened? Because after a few days' drive, the ticking noise appeared again. RE: RR Evoque front suspension click/tick - repair procedure - Bruno787 - 09-01-2013 12:53pm my dealer applied grease to the bolt pictured above (by bowl) and the clicking sound disappeared. What is the adjustment for and will slackening the nut upset the setting ? RE: RR Evoque front suspension click/tick - repair procedure - cutter7 - 10-01-2013 12:01pm My car over the last week has developed this 'snap click' sound from the front suspension on a sharp left hand turn at low speed of about 10-15 mph. The car has just turned over 26k miles and is having the front and rear pads replaced tomorrow (less than 1000miles left) so i will make sure these fixing nuts are slackened off and re-torqued to 48Nm +90 degrees.. RE: RR Evoque front suspension click/tick - repair procedure - cutter7 - 11-01-2013 09:44pm I managed to replace my front and rear pads today, but what i didn't realise was that the pads cannot be replaced without the electronic parking brake (EPB) being switched to service mode through the ECU..shit... Thank god for TOPIx LR, because they show another option of doing this if the LR software for switching to service mode is not available. This will make the calliper pistons able to retract so that the pads can be removed and replaced safely when the ignition is off. [attachment=3200] Original pads used.. Rears £43.35 and Fronts £47.58 Also sorted my 'snap click' suspension problem, and have driven around every mini roundabout in my area for the last hour and all ok.. I thought the TSB said 48Nm plus 180 degrees after the pin had been rotated 90 degrees??? Plus don't you have to change the nut, bolt and the caliperbolt? Plus don't you have to change the nut, bolt and the caliperbolt? My problem relating to the snap/click noise didn't turn out to be this problem. My problem was that when the front pads were changed, the right side brake line had moved out of its housing behind the disc and when i turned a sharp left at low speed the brake line armoured sleeve would make contact with the metal plate behind the disc. Problem fixed very easy by fixing the hose back into the housing and all is ok now..
