RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - Westy - 22-03-2012 08:31pm Car looks great, would love to have ordered your interior, I chewed over the options for ages myself back in June and ended up being the chicken and went for the dark, I love the car. People say to me your lucky to get one and I say lucky!, I ordered this back in June, then they are shocked. I love the black grill, might have mine painted soon. How easy was it to wrap the blades, did you use a hot torch, I am good at most things and want a confidence boost to try. Will keep an eye out for you on the m42 or around. Nice car RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - Bjorntje_be - 22-03-2012 10:05pm I've got a Fuji Pure / Almond on order too !! thanks for the pics RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - tash - 22-03-2012 10:07pm Pure evoque, mines arrived, drives very well as you said, chuffed with it so far and it's really growing on me, bit strange being high up at first RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - pureevoque - 22-03-2012 10:40pm glad your pleased with it Tash, I see you got good MPG too! you end up enjoying the height and I actually ended up putting the seat to it's highest, I seem to get more comfortable for 'arm on door' driving. Westy, the only frustrating bit of wrapping the side vents is getting them off, I have bought some replacement trim clips for the rear section, will let you know after weekend if they fit well and post link, then it doesn't matter for that piece if they do break, the front vent doesn't have replaceable clips though and that is £££'s, I have a heat gun but just used hairdryer in the end, gave more than enough heat to make the vinyl form round curves, I used this vinyl. Did you fit your own roof rails and mud flaps? Could you post some photos with those fitted, I'm thinking of adding soon. I use the M42 J3-J1 most days, you don't have to look out for evoque's though you can't miss them RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - Westy - 22-03-2012 11:26pm (22-03-2012 10:40pm)pureevoque Wrote: glad your pleased with it Tash, I see you got good MPG too! you end up enjoying the height and I actually ended up putting the seat to it's highest, I seem to get more comfortable for 'arm on door' driving. Yes I did the mudflaps and the roofbars, if you can wrap the blades, which is fiddly, then you will be able to fit the flaps, cars grotty at the moment will get some pictures soon and post them. I think the bars and flaps finish the car off. And like you did the LEDs and now fitted the projector reverse LEDs, which look and work great. Lionhead has posted lots re led bulbs. RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - pureevoque - 25-03-2012 03:41pm Here's the wrap closer up. I also did the tailgate finisher.... [attachment=1807] [attachment=1808] [attachment=1809] and a brodit clip for phone mount.... [attachment=1810] RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - J77 - 25-03-2012 04:17pm Does it say Range Rover on the silver strip where the terrain response would be? It's a nice touch rather than having just a blank space. RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - cjfp - 25-03-2012 04:22pm J77 - well spotted! What's going on there then? RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - J77 - 25-03-2012 04:27pm On closer inspection I think it says evoque. It makes the interior look that bit more flash. RE: eD4 Pure Fuji 5 door with Almond Espresso - cjfp - 25-03-2012 04:34pm Still, why no terrain response? |
