Would she rather you talk to her! If you must know, I only come onto the forum when I'm on the toilet! So now we know dandavis1 was in the loo at 9.08 am on the 19th feb 2012... ![]() RE: How useful do you find the TV/DVD? - dandavis1 - 19-02-2012 10:23am Oh no - that means I've been here for about 15mins now. Have a detachable centre console screen so you can watch the tv in the loo as well! ![]() RE: How useful do you find the TV/DVD? - dandavis1 - 19-02-2012 11:41am (19-02-2012 10:47am)jitenc Wrote: Another one for the list. Have a detachable centre console screen so you can watch the tv in the loo as well! Assuming you're not on the loo for more than 10mins when the screen will switch itself off. (by the way, I'm not on the loo right now) RE: How useful do you find the TV/DVD? - PhilB - 19-02-2012 01:34pm Very handy whilst parked up doing the pm school run. Have to get there early to find a space. ![]() Only problem which can be embarrasing is that the freeview channel list always has "The Adult Channel" at the top! ![]() Ahem! RE: How useful do you find the TV/DVD? - griff - 19-02-2012 02:06pm Worked a treat for me a couple weeks back. Took a watch in for a new battery (flash watch) and was told it would take about 30 mins. Went back to the car and watched the news - perfect. RE: How useful do you find the TV/DVD? - Coolbanana - 19-02-2012 02:38pm Dual View - good talking point but that's all for me. TV - nice to have when waiting in a queue or for when collecting the kids from a school function/sport etc. and they are invariably late. Useless when on the move which makes a mockery of dual view. Not essential and not something I'd specifically spec. but as part of a greater package, ok I guess. RE: How useful do you find the TV/DVD? - dandavis1 - 19-02-2012 04:12pm I'm slightly confused about comments regarding waiting for the kids or 30mins etc. With the dual view screen, does it not cut out after 10mins if the engine isn't polluting the world? RE: How useful do you find the TV/DVD? - bell-auto-services - 19-02-2012 08:19pm I find it handy for listerning/watching morning Tv on the way to work and the news on the way home at 6pm. I didnt use it much to start with but now I can see it on the move (If I wish) with my latest new kit I find my self using it more and more. Even if I have the duel view screen set to nav on the drivers side and tv on the passanger side I still find my self with it on listening to it. Ive watched TopGear on Dave a few times on the way home lol. Pete |
