RE: Smashed evoque.... already?! - J77 - 17-02-2012 11:17pm It dosen't have much more kit on it than my one and it cost just over £30k. RE: Smashed evoque.... already?! - PhilSkill - 17-02-2012 11:55pm 18" wheels, stop/start on an auto...?, about 32k spec. Did owner not have insurance? RE: Smashed evoque.... already?! - Daigriff - 18-02-2012 12:22am Hmm looks like a reliable ebayer only 50% positive from 32 sales/purchases Buyer beware comes to mind!! Did say further down classed as cat d. Doesn't that mean insurance have decided it's a write off? RE: Smashed evoque.... already?! - Frp1 - 18-02-2012 10:34pm Some told me last week that is was a demo from dealer in Huddersfield. RE: Smashed evoque.... already?! - edgedata - 19-02-2012 12:11am It's going to need a lot more parts that the seller lists. I can see it will need at least Air Bags, Grill, wing vents, inner wheel arch, LH inner wing all of which are going to be very expensive I would imagine. I'm sure there will be some kind of damage to wheel/chassis alignment which could add up to thousands to fix. You would then be left with a car registered on HPI as a CAT D wright-off and have paid almost full retail for a new Evoque. The car is not showing quite a few options that are listed in the auction and I suspect it is SD4 Pure without the Tech pack or any other options. £22,800 at the moment with 2 days to go £ 3,500 conservative estimate for parts £ 3,000 for paint, materials and labor ===== £29,300 for a CAT-D wright-off that you can buy brand new for £31,520 otr, I know which I'd choose. RE: Smashed evoque.... already?! - WB - 19-02-2012 02:42pm It's a complete joke of an ad - they clearly haven't got a clue what they're selling or are being deliberately mis-leading. There's another one being sold broken up and sold by breakers although that is water damaged rather than accident. RE: Smashed evoque.... already?! - pureevoque - 19-02-2012 04:13pm Where's the breaker WB?
