RE: Servicing your RRE - Share your experiences here! - PAT - 27-01-2012 12:02am Does seem expensive. My dealer is offering a 36 month plan for less than £29 per month with their free Allegiance Card on a SD4 doing 15,000 miles per year: http://www.john-clark.co.uk/upload/files/Evoque%20Quote.pdf RE: Servicing your RRE - Share your experiences here! - ytshome - 27-01-2012 12:04am (27-01-2012 12:02am)PAT Wrote: Does seem expensive. It's something you are given but not sure if it's only for Pentland LR customers only or if anyone who's bought a LR can apply for one: http://www.john-clark.co.uk/land-rover/aftersales-offers/pentland-allegiance-card (27-01-2012 12:20am)johnboy Wrote: Is that Pentland LR Yes it is. Pentland submitted the order to LR late in December so just over four months in the holding pool. Build date of the 2nd March was confirmed once they submitted the order with a delivery date of the 19th March so seven months wait from placing my order. I've not checked with them since early January to see if the date has changed and going by what others have posted there is every chance it will have slipped despite being told by my sales guy to expect the build date to come forward. RE: Servicing your RRE - Share your experiences here! - ED209 - 27-01-2012 11:00am I think i will be trying getting prices from independant specialists and also the team valley land rover centre, which is a place that is francised by LR but is not a dealership and only does servicing/repairs. It claims to be cheaper. £400 for a first service seems mad to me when I have previously paid £99 for a civic type r and about £130 for a vw sciroccos first services both at franchised dealers, and when volvo will do you a service plan for £300 for an xc60. RE: Servicing your RRE - Share your experiences here! - paulus599 - 27-01-2012 11:31am Thanks ED209, that's a good tip as I only live about half a mile from the team valley but hadn't heard about them. I'll also be giving them a call/visit before I go with the stratstone service plan. I have sent them a quick email asking for an estimate of servicing costs using their services. |
