Thanks for all your advice. I don't think getting a 25k loan from the bank is an option for me.

I have enquired with LR who inform me that they can search for better deals with the likes of Black Horse etc on my behalf. I have given them the details yesterday so hopefully get back to me with some robust figures.

Brokers4cars charge £460 fee...which over 4 years is £115...which I think is reasonable and their residual value is a lot better than what was offered by Prestige. I think prestige finance quoted 17k however broker4cars 14k. So with any luck if I did go with broker4cars I would see an element of equity when/if I hand the car back in 4 Years on the initial 6.5k deposit.

I recieved a couple of PM's also which I will look into! Thanks for all your helps fellow evoquers Very Happy

ING Asset Finance offer the lowest rates in the market so your broker will need to have a relationship with them. I know that Oracle does have a relationship - there may be other brokers as well.

You shouldn't look at anything anywhere near 8-9% - that's mainstream internet search rate.

I tried Oracle but was quoted same 9.9% rate as LR. Is there a way of going directly to ING Finance?

I'm not sure I'm afraid.

Have you thought about a floating rather than a fixed rate? I think they are knocking around 4% above LIBOR.

No I haven't and not sure how to go about it. My current method of getting quotes is trying the internet search engines and contacting well known finance companies like prestige/oracle.
