I tried Buzz but could not get the agreed value up to the purchase price, because of the options.

I don't expect the purchase price. As long as it's close because you need to think about what the car would cost minus LCT, On-roads & dealer delivary.

If the car is written off in 12 months, you'll get a new for old replacement. As long as you make the options you have clear. After that, the car is lucky to be worth 15k less than what we paid.

MND agreed but there was about $8k difference. CGU offers new car for old for 24 months as well and the cost was $100 more pa

Yeah agreed. I went with CGU. Paying a few buck more (like $10 p/m) but got an $85k agreed value and the whole new for old.

Couldn't find better. Dealer asked Allianz and came back with $2100!!

I just spoke to Land Rover and I've been quoted

$2065 for myself (age under 25) with an excess of $900!

Shocking!

Allianz seems to be the most expensive... i have gone all 3 cars with AAMI and even combined my business and home insurance with them; BMW was marginally more expensive.. but meh.. prefer dealing with one company for all insurance matters rather than 5.

I am with AAMI currently and am a 26yr old female rating 1 for life, online quote and from memory it was was just over $800.

The best quote i got was from NRMA (business registration) for $1178. This policy also comes with new car for old for 24month, 65% NCB discount and the excess was $1000.
