RE: Got my hands on mine - pureevoque - 24-12-2011 09:33pm Can you close it using the button on the dash or is that open only too? RE: Got my hands on mine - mark_n - 25-12-2011 05:06pm It's a safety thing to prevent your child getting mashed while the tailgate closes. Hardly a problem in practice. Hardly a problem in practice. As for iPod responsiveness, are you using Bluetooth or a cable? Cable is best... True, it's not a major issue. Would have been nice to be able to close the tailgate from the fob rather than reaching for the button, just thinking ahead when I've got both arms full with shopping. I'm using cable on the Ipod connection and it does seem a little slow to respond to track changes from the steering wheel. Gave it a wash yesterday, not really needed as it's only got 60 miles under it's belt. It was though a good chance to inspect the car properly. Nothing to report on the paintwork front. Loving the torque of the engine, the gearshift indicator wants 6th gear at 40mph. Makes for very lazy crusing! Consumption is improving, Now showing 20.3mpg from new and 29mpg on urban driving since leaving the dealership. Still showing a range of 100 miles with just under 1/4 tank remaining. That includes sitting in the car with the engine running whilst loading up some CD's. No journey of more than 10 miles currently. RE: Got my hands on mine - caroline11000 - 29-12-2011 09:32pm Great photos. I must say I haven't tried to get into the tyre repair compressor thingy, if you work it out before I do let us know how? RE: Got my hands on mine - cjfp - 29-12-2011 09:35pm Tyre compressor - simply just lift the boot base up and there it is. Yes, but how do you open the lid on the compressor box.! It seems to be so tightly closed and I feel it's likely to break given the force needed to open it. There's no obvious latch or anything on the box RE: Got my hands on mine - cjfp - 29-12-2011 11:40pm Oh soz, my misunderstanding! I'll have a look in the morning. |
