I tried a quote online for AAMI, for the Pure TD4 Manual it came to around $550 with an excess of $1500 and the top agreed price of $65,000.
I am female and 26 years old with a clear driving history.

Hope this helps Smile

Kind of except I think u have the excess and premium around the wrong way. Are you in Vic? If so, try RACV......on a vehicle cost of $100k they quoted me $1,400 with a $550 excess.

ahh... well I finally got hold of AAMI yesterday and they quoted me $1373.31 for a vehicle valued @ $87,000 and $1433.56 for the evoque valued $95,387.00

much better than what the dealer and also Allianz quoted me, which was between, $2500 & $ 2981

I did a quick online quote (Dynamic TD4) via AAMI which came back at $536.00 (standard excess).

42 yr old male and female driver's. Nil at fault claims.

Allianz is a bit on the expensive side... not sure why its so ridiculously expensive but it seems to be the preferred insurer for most of the large car companies - Audi, BMW, Mercedes all suggest Allianz.

Not sure if they have anything special that RAC or AAMI dont.

Did anyone sign up with AAMI?

Can't seem to get AAMI to insure this for more than $93000 online.... : ( , about $7000 short of purchase....

should i try call centre and pay extra $50 per year premium, or just settle for the lower agreed value and the decreased premiums that come with it?

FYI, premiums are about $1200 - $1350/year for 25yo+ driver.

Better commission for the dealership?

AAMI is insuring mine for $108,450.00 roughly for about $1350.00 with an excess of like $1500, and i'm a 32yr old male, and been with AAMI for years with previous cars and home and contents with a gold rating.
