Guy must have been a moron
Got to honest the sales team are very good
Dealt with Ian until he got promoted then James took over both spot on

I use Reading Lancaster too. Bought my D4 there also. Been dealing with Alistair. Find the dealership good, but the service department not so. When the D4 had it's first service, we booked it in well in advance and asked for a courtesy car(auto). We got a FL2, it was manual, caked in mud on the inside and covered in black soot on the outside. We had to put plastic bags down in the boot to stop the pram being covered in crud.
On getting the D4 back, for the price we pay, we were expecting a valet inside and out(with the Audi it always came back pristine)...not a chance, and the service book was covered in oil smears. I was hoping that was a one off...doesn't look like it. May try Ascot for the next service, though found their sales team snooty, turned their noses up at me.
sorry to hear about the leather.

Yes pain in the ass Craig
Apparently the technicians only get one box of latex gloves per week
so they work on an engine then get inside the car without changing them
If it happens again I will insist on a specialist leather clean not the eastern european valet guy who only made things worse.

I didn't have a good first experience with the sales team:

I can't remember who the first guy was (sat at the desk on your left as you walk in.)
But since went back and dealt with a different chap. "Mark". He seems decent and has replied to me fairly promptly on my various questions. Smile

Apologies for straying off topic Very Happy
