I'm honestly not aware of any wrapping in Australia other than on delivery vans. Seems big in the UK. Is it for protection or just to personalise?

If the former, seems like wrapping your couch in plastic.

That bentley wrap is amazing. I have a guy that would wrap my evoque for 1500-2000 bucks. A lot cheaper than a paint job, and you can take it off whenever.
For 500 bucks or less, you can do it yourself too. It's not that hard. Just requires a lot of patience

I think if I had to I would choose a White Carbon Fibre wrap

Always remeber seeing a matt metalic red wrap on a saxo (i know) but it did look good.

To buy the colour you want from the dealer would cost you alot more also they only do a set range of colours.

Wrapping also protects the paint work.

I think it's about £1000 and it seems most people do it to change colour temporarily or get a colour/finish that isn't available from the factory.

For example some people think the white "fashion" will be over by the time they come to sell their car in 2-3 years but want a white car now so they buy black or grey or silver and and have it wrapped...

I could see the point of wrapping if you were going for some stunning colour, but not battleship grey.

+1.....................perhaps 2.

I also like the bentley, although it's not one of your options. As to those who don't 'get' wrapping I guess everyone is different and some people just like to individualise their cars, just look at those sticking bits of a dynamic onto a prestige - respect to the 'presnamic' crew Wink

i see different good aspects in wrapping first of all its a good paint protection especially for scratches stone hits etc.
then you can choose the color you want and highlight the parts you want like the shiny details of the dynamic.

The regular cost of the wrapping are round about 2000€ but this time i have a friend that owns a company that does wrappings so i this time only pay the cost of the foil.

i also like the bentley grey thats the color i want to go for with black shiny highlights and black rims.
