I've not driven one but will soon! HAve a track day "experience" thing booked for the end of the month (the good one, where you actually drive the cars rather than being driven). Driving a Ferrari 458, Lambo Murcielago, Ariel Atom, DBS and one or two others. Can't wait!

I used my 360 as a daily drive for two years and 40,000mls before it met its end with some armco, no real issues in terms of width.. The RRE is a tad wider though.

There is another thread on here also regarding width:

RE: Parking Width - Evoqess - 12-11-2011 02:12am

With lots of attention being placed on the width of the Evoque I braced myself for my first attempt at parking in my underground between my neighbors SUVs. Backing in, mirrors folded and head out the window as I was still getting used to the rear camera (trust issue lol). Absolutely no problem at all once the Dumbo ears were tucked in! But then, Canadian parking stalls may be Evoque friendly. The great (spacious) white north!

Yes, I expect Canadian parking spaces are more generously proportioned than the stingy efforts here. I'm sure the reversing camera will be useful - I assume the view in the rear-view mirror was not especially helpful?

I've never had a problem with the width of my Landcruiser which I'd say is about the same width as an evoque. You just get used to it. I do always look for an "end" bay in a car park though to try and avoid Mr & Mrs Thicko who use your door as a rest for their door!!!!

RE: Parking Width - IKM - 12-11-2011 08:55pm

We currently have a Freelander 2 with just parking sensors. It's wider than the RRE but we've never had any parallel or reverse parking issues. Honestly you'll get used to the width. Ian
