Hi folks,

I'm hoping soon to be the proud owner of a Prestige Sd4 with 19" rims (fingers and toes crossed for December). Is it ok for me to swap the 19" out for 18" rims for winter tyres?

Thanks a lot .... Ian

can you tell me the lug pattern and wheel dimension (offset, width) for the 19s thanks for the RRE

Hi
Not sure of the offset of the 19" you may see it on the back of a standard Evoque, it will start with ET and be followed by two numbers. The stud pattern is 5x108 and also on the freelander 2 has a bore diameter of 63.4mm

I'm looking forward to seeing how these look. If my dealer ever finds me the right Evoque, then I'll need a winter set of wheels and maybe tyres.
As an aside, does anyone know if 255 wide tyres might under the Evoque arches? I've got a nearly new set of winter tyres on my Disco 2 (255/55/18 ), and it'd be handy if they just squeezed in there. My current Hurricane rims are 8J and it looks like the Evoque rims are all that width too. There is a negligible 5mm difference in circumference between the 255/55/18 (Disco standard size) are 235/60/18 (Evoque standard size) so no effect on speedo calibration and so on - http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp. But the key is if the 255 width is too wide.

We got some good snow so ive just come back from a long run on the motorway A64 and York centre back streets with these new tyres on, Im very happy with the grip and traction they give and even braking traction is very good.

The treads do as they should and collect the snow in the very fine lines and self clean on the others, all in all im very happy with these and glad I purchased them.
