Thanks Spiderman RE: Town & County Land Rover Aberdeen - Zermatt Vulgaris - 27-09-2011 10:32pm I don't purchase my LR/RRs from T&C as i like to deal with Lakeland but i can comment on the afterservice at T&C which i have always found to be first rate and much more personal than the big german brand's service centres. It has been this service which made us stay with LR/RR when we changed our car recently. RE: Town & County Land Rover Aberdeen - red1903 - 30-09-2011 09:29pm Hi Stitcher, Sorry to hear about your poor experience up at Town and County but you might want to phone up and ask for Gordon Rough in sales. Been buying RRs from T&C for 3 years now and all my purchases have been placed with Gordon. I put my order for an Evoque through him yesterday and it was done in the usual friendly professional manner. Anyway good luck and don't let one prat put you off RE: Town & County Land Rover Aberdeen - stitcher - 02-10-2011 11:32pm (30-09-2011 09:29pm)red1903 Wrote: Hi Stitcher, Cheers red , was a real pity , I drove yesterday from Peterhead to Inverness and looks like I will be purchasing from Macrae and dick, as you say all down to one prat who fancied himself as the big I am in front of the receptionist . Judging by you user name you also following the mighty reds , here's hoping things now start to improve , stand free ! RE: Town & County Land Rover Aberdeen - Malferg - 17-10-2011 02:11pm This Evoque order is my 3rd car in a row from T&C since 2000 and can honestly say that I cannot complain about any of service I have received from the salemen through to the service department. Waiting on delivery on my car so lets hope that continues RE: Town & County Land Rover Aberdeen - Broadsword1959 - 03-01-2012 08:58am Have ordered my RRE from T&C, Aberdeen on Dec 19th. Looked at several 4 x 4 options (Ford, Toyota, Volvo, Nissan) around showrooms in Aberdeen and found T & C the most courteous of the bunch. Arrived with partner in our 9 year old Renault, wearing casual clothes, trainers etc and was immediately greeted by receptionist and was able to inspect all vehicles on show. Offered Coffee and Biscuit as the sales team were busy with other customers. Met with George Mackie, Fleet Sales Specialist, and discussed options of FL2 and Evoque. I had done my homework prior to arrival and had printed out my "build" requirements for both models. George answered all my questions and provided additional test reports etc.. George arranged test drives for the following day for both Evoque and FL2. 40 minutes in Evoque and same in FL2 - just my partner and I (no sales person) so this gave us a good overview of both vehicles and allowed frank discussions between us. Order for RRE placed 2 days later. Have emailed George on a couple of occasions with questions / clarifications and have had immediate response (within 2 hours). So far service has been exceptional from T & C Aberdeen, and i hope this continues through delivery and servicing RE: Town & County Land Rover Aberdeen - JRL2W - 03-01-2012 10:47am Picked up the Evoque from T&C, in Aberdeen, a couple of weeks ago. Had the promised rubber footwell and loadspace mats installed, F.O.C. and the mud flaps fitted, as part of LR £150 offer + a full tank of fuel. Full marks to T&C and especially Duncan Bain, their senior sales specialist, for keeping me fully informed of progress of my Evoque order. He also did a follow up telephone call after 5 days, to check all was OK. Also received a very nice Christmas Hamper from their Operations Manager, as an apology for the confusion/delay in delivery. Outstanding customer care RE: Town & County Land Rover Aberdeen - Rattrala - 21-01-2012 02:32pm Just picked up my Evoque from T & C and can say it has been a good experience. No fault on them for delay and always have had honest feedback if the build date etc was moved by Landrover. Also got Xmas hamper ( very well received) rubber mats all round , full tank of diesel and the best trade in offer I had been given from 4 different garages. I have bought several cars from T & C over the last 15 years and can say I have always had good professional service from them. Also have had the usuall follow up call from them 3 days after I picked it up to make sure all is well. Service dept is also been impressive and option of a courtesy car always offered. Would recommend them for any one thinking of purchasing an Evoque - or other LR PRODUCT. |
