RE: Manual Gearbox - jos - 21-09-2011 01:57pm i did order the manual ! far more active ! and only on the eD4 ! RE: Manual Gearbox - cjfp - 21-09-2011 05:38pm Manual for me. Want to be involved in the drive, wanted Start/Stop and lower road tax bracket. RE: Manual Gearbox - defender_uk - 21-09-2011 05:41pm hoping the stop/start lower emissions is on the 2012 or 2013 auto diesel. at present only the X3 diesel has auto stop/start low emissions system RE: Manual Gearbox - Tully - 21-09-2011 06:43pm (21-09-2011 05:41pm)defender_uk Wrote: hoping the stop/start lower emissions is on the 2012 or 2013 auto diesel. at present only the X3 diesel has auto stop/start low emissions system Defender uk - I have exactly the same order!.....bar wheels RE: Manual Gearbox - defender_uk - 21-09-2011 07:38pm grt minds and all that!!! lol RE: Manual Gearbox - Louie - 21-09-2011 07:39pm I have gone for the SD4 manual also for mpg and co2 reasons. Test drove one only for a short time at local dealer, the box was very smooth and only a short distance between gears. Looking forward to a hopeful delivery in November but is subject to the Xenon fiasco???? RE: Manual Gearbox - defender_uk - 21-09-2011 07:41pm not had chance to drive the manual at all!!! Only driven the auto.... RE: Manual Gearbox - rchrdleigh - 21-09-2011 07:51pm Having driven both manual and auto I have to say both are good. If CO2/MPG are a priority then manual wins but not by much. RE: Manual Gearbox - rchrdleigh - 21-09-2011 07:51pm Deleted - double post RE: Manual Gearbox - cobkelly - 21-09-2011 07:56pm Also went for manual for CO2, mpg & company tax (mainly this) reasons. |
