That would fit nicely between my D-A and my Dremel in size, but think i'll have to manage with those, can't really justify that price for the amount I do these days. RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - Nickj - 22-04-2017 08:33pm Nice pics. With the headlights do you have to send the headlights away and are they split open? Did you consider a rear twin fin roof spoiler at all, as looks like you're still running pre facelift rear spoiler? Not sure if they had to split them open, they just said they are working on the circuitry. I bought a Rear Twin Fin Roof Spoiler on eBay UK just after I got the car resprayed (extremely hard to find on their own), so once the Spoiler is sent out to me in Malawi next week, I will DHL it down to South Africa for painting in Santorini Black and then DHL'd back up to me in Malawi to fit.... Everything is 200% more difficult to do out in Africa, hahaha! RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - Sarcastrix - 24-04-2017 10:51am Great job & great pics ![]() RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - owencardew - 02-05-2017 01:04pm Facelift Twin Fin Spoiler arrived from UK today. Tomorrow I'll DHL it down to South Africa to be painted in Santorini Black... Spoke to the Italian chaps working on my headlights, they said they are half way through the mod on the Full LED Headlights, so that will be the last piece of the puzzle to get sorted.. soon! RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - efbiaye - 03-05-2017 02:05am Excellent and thanks for the update on the lights! ![]() RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - IvorRedOne - 21-05-2017 09:43pm What about the Large Wing Mirrors. Did you look at changing them to the newer smaller ones? RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - Nickj - 22-05-2017 08:49pm Good work. How come they are working in the solution to headlights? Is it not a sure thing they can do it? Be sure to let me know if spoiler is a straight swop wiring wise as thinking about trying to get another twin fun myself. RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - owencardew - 22-05-2017 10:57pm ![]() I'm in South Africa now, came to pick up the Twin Fin Spoiler which has just been painted. @NickJ once i get back to Malawi i'll let you know about the plug and play of it compared to the stock cables on the old spoiler. Still waiting to hear back from RD Custom in Italy - they got the High and Low Beams working a few weeks ago but as far as i know were still working on the LEDs and DRLs. Yes, I will change the mirrors shortly - been looking for a decent pair on eBay that won't require painting as i can't be bothered to send the mirror caps down to South Africa for painting again. Have spent far too much on this car already for now it has to be plug and play solutions for me! ![]() RE: My 2012 to 2017 Evoque Facelift Conversion - Nickj - 23-05-2017 08:37pm Spoiler looks great now painted. Did you check non of the connections had been cut and all intact? Shame about the headlights. Getting the high/ low beam, indicators is as simply as swopping 2 wires. We had everything working bar the DLRs in about 20 minutes. Hopfully they can sort. Keep us posted. |
