Phil, that seems the norm at the mo.

Since my last refill, done mostly town driving, short journeys etc, B Trip show 31 mpg.

Windows frozen this morning, Doors opened fine as I used AutoGlym Silicone Spray on the door top seals, but the windows all stuck and wouldn't descend, after the car was fully warmed the windows were working again.

Captains Blog 20130124 : Snow mode all week, Heated seats On, Max Defrost On, Air Temps -3 to +2, Av speed 28mph, Trip 33.3mpg, Actual 34.05 mpg. Zero wheel slip this week while cars around span their way to get moving in the car parks and back roads.

Funny how people ask how the Evoque is in the snow, you can tell they expect me to say it's not that good really... but it's actually fantastic, although a 2wd car with winters on would have been fine in the conditions this week.

Phill,I've seen some great sights of the Bavarian motor works boys! trying to get traction down on the snow at weeping cross @ Bodicote this week!

Yeah they're always fun to watch in these conditions!

Mind you a colleague has 35 profile tyres on his 2wd TT (should've been a hairdresser Laughing ) he put steel wheels and winters and was absolutely fine right through Hook Norton on the back roads every day.

180 mile round trip today to a Volvo Drive event, Decided to take it easy and have a leisurely drive to Melton Mowbray then a trip back to Solihull, before heading home, So with no putting my foot down, mostly A roads and just taking it easy, no way I could have driven any more efficiently really, included probably 30 miles on M1 and M42 and stayed bang on 70mph using cruise, trip reading reset at a new fuel up in the morning and returned 41.3 mpg. Was actually pleased with that as haven't seen above 36mpg for over 6 months now.

Stop/Start worked first thing in the morning then never again, actually seems a bit odd as never used Air-con so normally after a long run it would always work. I see other posts about software updates for Start\Stop and mines still running original July 2011 software.

More on the Volvo drive on the other vehicles thread!

My stop/start just pleases itself, my parents one works faultlessly but mine, which has had its first service in January is non existent.

Latest graph of overall fuel usage, at least the price is falling.
