I was wondering if someone has ever done a list of all the part numbers needed to do the facelift. I'm having trouble finding some small bolts and plastic parts.

Im in the process of changing my 2012 evoque halogen headlights to the facelift halogen headlights. From what i can make out i need to change some pins to get the high / low beam to work. Can anyone tell me which pins need changing as this isnt clear on the previous posts.

cheers,
Will

I don't think it's as easy as a pin change, there is a LIN bus in the new lights which needs a processor to convert the signals..

I dont recall needing any bolts other than the Oem ones. What are you missing. Can you not just use generic bolts fixings of the correct size?

Hi Phil- If these are halogen do they still need linbus? Not sure what the halogen facelift look like but didn’t think they have the dlr strip and it’s the dlr strip that needs the linbus maybe? But rusty as a while since I was researching this!

So, not been on here for a while but had a few notifications ping through regrading this thread and a couple of issues with the evoque recently so thought I’d update this post, probably for the last time as thinking of selling it on soon as fancy getting the wife a Velar ( that I will use some days to keep mileage down on the c63 amg)

Daughter had her 4th birthday yesterday and it was her pending arrival that made my wife want an evoque. A big little car as she described it! 4 years a bit later, I’ve had 3 issues with it, 2 in the last week! Turbo actuators went a year or so ago, but got fixed for £200 ish. Egr valve issue recently but blanking valve sorted at no cost ( aa were great) and a random suspension bolt issue (see other thread) but will sort this and shouldn’t be too expensive. Other than this 2 services at Land Rover, 2 independent services and mots all good.

Milage wise now on 39k and can only recall having rear brake pads done with regard to serviceable items, so all In all can’t complain.

Couple of recent pics.

Matching evoque for daughter!

Will go back over the missing pics and re add what I can.

Anyone bought a velar recently and any advise as to the must have specs ?

You could well be right Nickj, not really look into halogen either and as you say has been a while!
