That's my dealer too... I had 22nd March as original delivery date to the dealer as well but then got told on Monday they'd got it and I could have it this weekend. I ordered last week of October so I doubt you'll be far behind by the sound of it

Great news! Will be interested to hear your feedback on the handover! The original date when ordered was May/June so am over the moon. I understand from the dealer that they won some competition within LR and the prize was an additional allocation, hence many of the orders brought forward

That may well explain why it suddenly turned up!
Unfortunately the salesman I deal with normally won't be in this weekend so will be someone else doing the handover (like I'm waiting another week just to have the correct person handover to me!) but I'll let you know how it goes.
He did mention it will be 'fully fueled' which seems to be a rarity judging from some threads on here so will see if that actually materialises too.

Like you I couldn't care less if the salesman was there for the handover, just give me the keys! Interesting to hear that it should be fully fueled - My wife picked up a new Freelander 2 from Marshalls last Friday and that only came with half a tank...

Half a tank it was.... Handover took about 5 minutes too so I spent a lot of time looking at the manual throughout the weekend to work out what the hell I was doing.

She's at the dealers, got the call today. Collecting this Friday. So ordered on 16th Sept expected delivery date 16th March so 6 months and right on time. Although date moved forward by 2 weeks over the last 2 weeks. Now just have to get out of the way of the Cheltenham Gold Cup traffic and hope its sunny.
