Putting some numbers on things - Jai - 12-09-2012 03:20am I have looked up the bill of lading for a ship that left south Hampton on the 31st August and the latest vin I can find is 706051 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Putting some numbers on things - Barton Evoque - 12-09-2012 06:13am 710150 3rd Sept topic says completed. RE: Putting some numbers on things - PhilSkill - 17-09-2012 09:41pm With limited number of VIN's to dates it looks a bit odd, but the outcome actually looks like no change in production rates yet from 300 day, or even a drop off. more numbers please! Sounds about right. Got my VIN 714189, but it's not yet appeared on TOPIx so can't quote an exact build date yet, but I think it was about the 13th or 14th, so about a fortnight after Barton. Will post the date as soon as it appears on TOPIx. RE: Putting some numbers on things - smayo - 19-09-2012 05:48pm VIN 714189, built on 13th Sept. Thats about 4000 in 10 days, so are they up to about 400 a day now? RE: Putting some numbers on things - PhilSkill - 19-09-2012 08:10pm Hi Smayo, can only use averages as dates may vary or be inaccurate. But adding that to my chart makes around 365 a day, hopefully that's a sign of the increased working shift making a difference [attachment=2762] RE: Putting some numbers on things - Barton Evoque - 19-09-2012 09:05pm Don't forget they only work mon to fri i was told by wayne who works at Halewood. So really that's about 4000 in 8 days. RE: Putting some numbers on things - PhilSkill - 19-09-2012 09:30pm Thanks Barton Yes we never knew in the beginning if they were building cars 7 days a week, it only affects the scale of the chart, the rate of climb is the interesting thing to see delays or increases in build rate and that isn't effected, but here's the graph recalculated based on 5 day week working from the beginning. That puts the averaged build rate at 600 a day now [attachment=2763] RE: Putting some numbers on things - smayo - 19-09-2012 09:38pm Landrover Solihull used to do overtime at weekends. Surely Halewood do the same? |
