The ones I used give slightly more light than the standard bulbs but the colour is white rather than yellow. Hope that helps. I ordered these bulbs and they took 6 weeks to arrive. After I had all but given up hope they did eventually get here and they are all in original packaging. The light is very white and easily lights up the boot area. Well worth the wait though and a great price. RE: LED Dome and Rear Bulbs - pureevoque - 20-03-2012 05:41pm Did mine at the weekend, what a PITA I found the rear roof covers to get off, here's a couple of images that might help others.... The 3 smaller lugs are nearest the coat hanger so I found releasing the 2 side ones with a card and then 'pinging' the end out with a screw driver the easiest method in the end. [attachment=1764] [attachment=1765] Front was quite easy with photos already on here as were foot wells, my driver side footwell holder was actually partially melted as it hadn't been installed properly and the bulb had been on for a while and was making contact, so if you get a smell of plastic burning, check this area! I looked at this and followed instructions - but just couldn't get enough purchase on unit to remove it. I was thinking of using a small thin screwdriver as a lever to push out but am afraid to damage paint. Anyone else had this issue or any suggestions ? Once you have removed the two screws, just give the light unit a strong pull to release the catch holding the unit on the other side from the screws. I had my unit out when tracing the wiring harness. RE: LED Dome and Rear Bulbs - cjfp - 30-03-2012 05:19pm @Big G - as doug says, take out the screws and it should come out with a good pull. Just make sure you don't drop the unit as you pull as it will swing on the wiring loom and you'll be swearing all night at the semi-circle of scratches! |
