RE: Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - TiTan - 30-07-2012 01:02am If you haven't already, don't forget to check the website of the port itself, rather than marinetraffic, as that usually has more accurate ETA's. Not too long now for you guys. Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - Neo - 30-07-2012 01:58am Thanks Titan Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - Neo - 30-07-2012 07:02am The Parsifal will be arriving in PK at 2pm on 1st Aug! So the dealer said roughly 2-3 weeks to delivery RE: Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - missevoque - 30-07-2012 11:02am Yep, back in Oz, but off to Melbourne on thursday for a couple of days. 2pm at PK... I wonder how long they unload etc for after docking? I assume that it's an efficient operation... I wonder if I can swing it to get down there... I'm hoping for a delivery date of closer to 2 weeks vs 3 weeks How long can it take to get a car ready, really? Especially as I don't have any deliver fit options. Surely they want their money vs having the car sit idle... RE: Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - ADZ - 30-07-2012 11:04am The wait is SOOOOOOOO worth it guys. I followed my vessel (Hoegh Trident) on marinetraffic as well and was really quite miffed (being polite here) to see it sailing up and down past East London for 5 days? Turns out there was a wind issue. I agree with Titan though - get in touch with the ports authorities. Our guys in East London and Durban were most helpful. My baby was unloaded in Durban on 19 July, got fitted with a tracker, and was in Cape Town on the 25th of July already. I took delivery on the 26th Why 2 to 3 weeks? That's a bloody killer! Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - Neo - 30-07-2012 09:58pm After unloading the car is transported to Sydney I think in campbelltown/Minto where the holding yard is for customs and compliance badging. Heard it takes around 2 weeks for this process. The dealer prob want another week to detail and register the car b4 customer pickup. Yes, I would love to pick up the car on the 9 Aug to take it to the snow but it's way too hopeful and prob won't happen. I'm counting down to around 15 Aug for pickup. RE: Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - ADZ - 31-07-2012 03:47pm Almost there Neo. A true test of character isn't it. Not long and you will be driving around in absolute luxury. The smell of new car in your nose and the Meridian sound system in your ears. And speed pure speed beneath your foot Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - Neo - 31-07-2012 10:23pm Touché ADZ! RE: Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - Capital - 01-08-2012 12:51am Judging by the length of this thread there is only one conclusion to be made. Parsifal = slowest boat ever! thank god it is coming to a conclusion Neo, Missy & Queevo's Evoques - Neo - 01-08-2012 12:54am Yup it is really slow, must be the stopovers in the pacific Islands |
