RE: 2014 - HeartbreakRidge - 04-02-2014 04:13am The US website has finally been updated to admit that the 2014 exists, but no configurator yet. RE: 2014 - stakou - 04-02-2014 05:35am Hello All, First post and first forum - seemed fitting as I've just purchased my first RR. I've just received confirmation that my 2014 SD4 Dynamic is going through the pre-delivery stage of the dealership and is due for delivery Friday or Saturday of this week Now that its imminent, I'm genuinely excited. Here's what's coming in the next few days: • MY14 Dynamic • SD4 Automatic • Fuji White • Black Pack • Front PDC • Reverse Camera • Navigation Can't wait. Will post pictures as soon as I can. Thank you to all for the invaluable information throughout this Forum RE: 2014 - maximusrant - 04-02-2014 02:58pm Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've been driving a Freelander 2 HSE and just took delivery last week of a new 2014 model Evoque Dynamic Lux 9 speed auto in red with a black roof. It's utterly amazing! Totally different from the Freelander. It's got as many toys as I've ever seen......so far its achieving 42.2mpg on a 200 mile round trip. I've heard that the 6 speed autos were hesitant off the mark? - I can assure you the 9 speed one isn't.. RE: 2014 - omegabob - 05-02-2014 06:27am HBR: I was going to post that for ya, but you beat me to it! hahaha. Weather permitting, I'll be heading to the Philly Auto Show next week to check out the Evoque, as well as the Cherokee and more, so I'll ask the reps what's the deal with the US site. I also notice that the LR Quick Start apps for Android & iOS have been updated to add the 2014 Evoque. Looking forward to your report! RE: 2014 - HeartbreakRidge - 11-02-2014 07:01pm FYI the US configurator (with prices!) is working for 2014 now. Side note: took off from work today to go to the Philly auto show. The folks running the JLR section knew nothing about the website issues (not that it matters now); although, when I asked for a brochure, they did make me sign up, via an iPad, for their mailing list (which I am already on) - gee, thanks for the help guys (guffaw)! They had three Evoques there, one was dated from 2012 - but I knew it was an older model without seeing the date bc it still displayed 'Range Rover' on the LCDs. The other two were from 2013. Wishes they had a 2014 so I could check out the new side view mirrors . I was also able to check out the 2014 Cherokee and I was not impressed. Its actually looks alot longer than I anticipated - the Evoque is more my size. Oh, Lincoln had the MKC on a platform but I didnt want to wait around for the booth babe to blah blah blah - not sure what it's based on... Ford Escape maybe?. Anyways... right now, the Evoque is in the lead with the Cherokee a distant second. If you ignore styling, the Cherokee looks good on paper, but I think the styling is so unfortunate that I'd prefer a Grand Cherokee over the regular (new) Cherokee. |
