ok guys finally had the time to work on my center console. I followed this video on how to remove the console.

Then i removed each aluminum hockey side and proceeded to wrap it. Used some plastic squeegee which I taped the tip to make sure it doesn't scratch the vinyl, and my wife's hardryer to heat the vinyl. Took a few hours as the edges of the sticks were a bit hard to wrap properly, and the fact that i ordered the vinyl off ebay and it appears to be a non 3M one. It's not bad but I believe the 3M would have been easier to manipulate.

wow that looks really good! well done!
I would consider getting mine wrapped gloss black but don't think I would ever be able to make as good a job of it as that!

It actually is not as hard as it sounds. only difficult parts are the sharp areas that are near the armrest, it's hard to wrap that corner without any ripple. took me almost an hour on that alone lol.

Looks VERY nice. I have a few questions:

1) That is vinyl CF replica or real CF?
2) Where do you get that material and how much did you need?
3) How much was the material?

I really like how it turned out.

1) That is vinyl CF replica or real CF? -- it's 3d vinyl wrap, non 3M though. Next go at it will be 3M
2) Where do you get that material and how much did you need? Got it off ebay. if you buy make sure it's 3M. I got 5ft by 1ft. I could have used just half of that but screwed one attempt so I had to redo it.
3) How much was the material? less than $20 bux Smile
