Loadspace Protector - First mod - chiggy - 02-03-2012 10:40am

So recently bought a loadspace/rear bumper protector. Quite a cheap mod for the car.

Was packaged really well and well protected so it didn't suffer any damage.

Anyway - here are some pictures.

Looks pretty good too.

Chiggy - Looks good. How's it fixed on and where did you get it?

Thanks

It's got some sticky lining on the back (3M I think?)

I looked around and the cheapest place I found was http://www.aliexpress.com.

Here's the link:
http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/511660835-hight-quality-2011-LANDROVER-EVOQUE-stainless-steel-rear-bumper-protector-rear-bumper-plate-wholesalers.html.

Cheapest for me mainly cause of the shipping - might be cheaper for those in Europe to source it elsewhere.

Also they have the illuminated sill plates for sale on http://www.alibaba.com however they need a minimum of 50 orders - would be really great if we could get a group buy in case people here were interested - I know all the Prestige/Dynamic owners won't care but for us Pure owners it would be great to get some sill plates at close to half the price of RRP.

The link doesn't find the item. Is it an LR product?

Looks good mate, there was one on eBay, but the postage was a killer.

Yeah this is about $85 including postage? It's pretty good

Haha! My bad, I thought they were standard on prestige and dynamics? Might start something on the for sale section and see if I can organize something

Looks good to me, just what LR should have been supplying. Had a similar one on my Subaru Impreza wagon and it certainly works. How does it look with the rear hatch closed?
