How long - paulus599 - 10-11-2011 06:15pm LR have told Autocar that the component supply problem is now resolved and that the average delay is 'three to four weeks' To me this just seems like wishful thinking and wanted to conduct a simple poll to find out what it is in reality. So, if you had been given a delivery date which has subsequently changed, how many weeks is the delay? How long - DDX - 10-11-2011 07:11pm Dealer telling me 4 weeks and LR telling me 8 weeks. LR telling me that the dealers vista system is more accurate than order controls system but that sounds like a load of bull poo. Have asked the lady at LR to get a definitive answer for me. RE: How long - mark_n - 10-11-2011 08:05pm 13th Nov to 19th January, nearly 10 weeks. In saying the average delay is 3 - 4 weeks, they are undoubtedly lying through their teeth. RE: How long - alibeau - 10-11-2011 11:00pm Nov 17th to Jan 12th...... RE: How long - mark_n - 10-11-2011 11:11pm Yes, it's interesting that so many cars are moving from mid-November to mid-January, assuming of course we're a representative bunch and there's no reason to believe we are not. It's impossible to know whether these dates are for real. It wouldn't surprise me if they move again. |
