Just wanted to know if we are getting a good deal. We are have to buy out of state sense we have no dealers here. Going with a fully loaded dynamic with black out package. LR website puts build at 62K, dealer says they will do this price with no extra markup. Is there room for below MSRP on special orders or is this pretty standard?
I have to think there's quite a bit of room to move.

Especially on a special order.

There's ALWAYS room below MSRP. Given that you have to buy out of state, your best bet is to look on a car buying website (cars.com, etc) for the spec you want and Email them on making a deal. This is best done starting next week as salesmen have quotas to meet by the end of the month. Also, any car on a lot at the end of the year incurs inventory tax. How much discount you can get is unknown... depends on if LR are offering any incentives and that I don't know. You should be able to get $4-5k off with ease, however.

If you aren't averse to used, do consider that route. Depreciation is fierce. I just picked up a '13 Dynamic with 27k miles certified pre-owned for $35,600 before tax. If you find an Evoque you like at an LR dealer that isn't certified, you can have them do that for you. They'll say it'll cost $3-5k. That's BS. $1200-1700 is realistic. Special orders actually have less leeway than something purchased off the lot. They know you want a specific vehicle and thus don't have to negotiate as much on it. If it's already on the lot, it's costing them money.

Good luck.
