With the cold weather noticed that the car is taking a very long time to warm up... have to out the internal temp to at least 24C/25C Shocked before warm air starts to circulate. Takes even longer if I have the heated seats/heated steering wheel on. Has anybody else this problem?

Had a loan car recently a Jaguar XF 2.2D and that heated up within a few minutes of starting off in the morning.
There is some kind of electric heater which comes on once the car has started. once the engine has warmed up, I would say that it when switches off. Could be as you have the heated seats & steering wheel turned on, there isn't the currant in the battery to run the electric cabin heater. (sorry, can't think what the name LR use for).
