Mine does this, as have other cars. It is most likely the rubber seals around the window. I solve it by cleaning and treating them with Autoglym rubber treatment and cleaning the edges of the windows.

I had this too, if the window was up and I went over a rutter road that vibrated it rattled - window down and it was fine.
I traced it to inside the window housing in the drivers door. Took it back to dealers showed them where it was and they fixed it. Been fine since then.

Mine is going for first service soon and I have exactly this issue to be looked at with my rear passenger door, what exactly do you mean by Window housing? The channel that goes around the top of the window? or inside the door itself? How did you locate it?
Strange, Mine is also Red but doesnt rattle, should I take it back to the dealer ?
I'm sure there are some dealers that could add a rattle or 2 if you wanted WT!

I would like this answer too. (My left rear window has this exact issue, when it's fully closed theirs a fairly faint rattle, but lower it a touch 3-5mm,and it disappears)

Big G, can you please elaborate on what it was,and how it was fixed? Thanks

JOY!!!...Thanks andylel..... i tried this easy possible solution you suggested ,even down to using Autoglym rubber treatment, and it fixed the rattle coming from my left rear window.
This fix seems logical too, because beforehand, i was able to stop the rattle by lowering the window a few mm's and thus, i'd sayi it would have probably been coming from the top window frame channel.
I have the same problem.

Has anyone tried the cleaning solution and does it definitely work?
