So every time I've gone to fill up my Evoque attacks me !!!

Basically while filling my Evoque with petrol it shoots back at me and splutters all over the shop !! The only way to fill the car without the stains of petrol all of me and my vehicle is to cut the pumps throttle by half.... making it very long to fuel up.

It gets worse as the tank gets lower, the last pit stop I let it get 80Km before empty and when I released the fuel cap it spat fuel Twisted Evil

Is my Evoque possessed or is it allergic to high octane fuelQuestion
i have the same issue & have informed dealer who has asked to bring it in for service dept to check.

apparently this issue only affects the si4 (and then only a small number of si4's). mine sprays fuel out constantly while refueling. It is not just bloody irritating (my arm get soaked in petrol) but potentially dangerous.

At least we aren't in the dark ....

So I'm guessing a trip to the dealer is necessary then. I hate that because my schedules always tight.
I recall this happening once when I first got the Evoque but now I just make sure that the nozzle is in and more importantly square (trigger pointing down) and I've not had any further issues.

Lucky you and every else without this fault....

I've tried every direction possible Laughing with no such luck. Some times I can spend 10 minutes at the bowser trying positions and washing excessive fuel splatter Evil
