I am going in 30 mins to my dealer to get a price on my BMW 323 SE Coupe. It has extra's in it.....but Im not optimistic on the price...

So...as I cant get the polls thing working on here....lets have a poll "the good ol' fashion way"

Please let me know what you guys think will happen.... either A, B, C or D :

A = Ill be offered 1-2K less than "webuyanycar" or Glass's Guide price
B = Ill be offered within 1K of "webuyanycar" or Glass's Guide price
C = Ill be offered the same as "webuyanycar" or Glass's Guide price
D = Ill be offered more than the "webuyanycar" or Glass's Guide price

I know I really want C or D...but what do you guys think? - Answers on a postcard (well....reply on here)

Ill let you know in about 2 hours when I am back! Smile
I would say slightly more as I was offered £2k more by Audi than WBAC last year against a used TT

I think it depends if they have a local trader that will want your car

Is there a prize for the winning answer?

Good luck!
I also asked them for a PX price on my C Class and it was 10% less than WBAC. I had to chase them for that too, really were not interested! Hope you manage a good deal
My experience with Audi and LR would make me think it might be A - let us know ! My experience with WBAC was good apart from a long wait despite an allocated appointment time.
WBAC are a bunch of pirates (there are more descriptive words I'd like to use but wont!) in my opinion and will find any reason to knock money off the quote you get on-line so best not use that as a benchmark.

I'd guess C is what you'll get but as has been said already, it depends if they can sell it onto a local trader.
A
LR have an in demand car, more customers than cars they have to sell, no need to give discounts or offers, crap part ex prices is just a natural progression.

They dont need to clinch deals with good prices so they simply dont give them

I am staggered however that they have refused to take some peoples cars in part ex at all.
They really did want to entertain a px on my Cayman (but would have done at a push but, from their attitude, assumed that it would be a rubbish offer) so sold to a specialist porsche dealer at nearly the price I wanted. Unfortunately I didnt have time to sell it privately so knew I wouldn't get a massive price.

So what's the verdict?
Still on the floor laughing at the offer Laughing
