Finally got the details of my car from TOPIX but was surprised to see:-
PREMIUM AUDIO 1280 W

I thought the premium audio was 825w

Mywillia, you must be excited listing all that info.

The one thing I didn't see on that list is DYNAMIC.

Also interesting to see Volvo 4wd drivetrain, which ties in with a Top Gear review which mentioned a clip in the rear seats which came off and was stamped Volvo.

How much of a Volvo is this Evoque?

I'm very excited! I guess the DYNAMIC is listed as "SPORT EDITION"
I'm more interested in why the Audio is now showing as 1280w and not 825w as per the manual. Everything else is exactly as ordered.

Noticed though that it's on Continental Tyres and that the basic mats are listed as "FRONT THROW IN CARPET FLR MATS", no mention of anything for the rear!. Never mind, gives me an excuse to not let anybody in the back until I get some mats!

Can you advise how to get into TOPIX and how to find your specific car to see these build details please ?

Also how long into the ordering / build process are you likely to find your car details on TOPIX ?

You need a VIN number for your car before you can see car specific details

mywillia, the Front throw in mats was also listed for mine even though I ordered Premium so that must be the standard mats (like I got) from the factory, you do get rear mats with those! The standard meridian system gets listed as 800W on Topix.

Many thanks for the details. I see your RRE is due for delivery mid January. How long before delivery will the dealer have a VIN number so that you can check the build details on your RRE are correct ?

thats great news, mine is now in build and according to topix print out from dealer (My Dynamic is fitted with Pirelli's so printout says)will be factory complete two days after yours on 17-01-12.
Mine doesn't show up on Topix yet as I hav'n't got a full VIN. -I spoke to LR Customer Services today and asked for the VIN because my Salesman is away for Crimbo. I only had the factory order number to give them, but the kind Lady phoned me back in 5 miniutes flat ( got to be a world record there somwhere .. but they could only give me the 'Short' VIN as the Dynamic Lux was not far enough along build to obtain a full VIN. My Brand status point was Body Scheduled (DDA). She did however say that it was on schedule for early Jan delivery, So may well be delivered earlier than what Topix said.


PS. for ED2009 I placed deposit April 2011 and full order Spec July-2011.

Mine's actually due at the dealers at some point this week and I collect, all being well on Friday.

The date in my sig is the original Order completion date so it's nearly a month early as per the LR order
I got my full VIN number on Thursday last week but it's taken until tonight to appear on TOPIX
