Had the call from the dealer this afternoon to say that my car had just been delivered! Very Happy
A mad panic now to get everything in place so I can pick it up on Tuesday (I was going to try for Monday but I'm having the car fully detailed before I collect it, and they can only do Tues.)

So if all goes well it looks as if my delay has been around five and a half weeks - could have been worse I suppose Rolling Eyes
Yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

Good luck Paul, bet you can't wait............
Great news!!! Congrats.....u r going to have sooooooooooo much fun!!!!
Congratulations...... when you finally drive down the road all the waiting heartache will melt away.

It’s really good to see a lot of us early orderers finally getting our cars.

I'm afraid it will be a looong weekend for you!
Pleased for you Paulus. Half expected my call today but never happenedSad

Is your dealer doing the detailing? Can I ask how much they are charging and for what?

Very envious

Cheers

Dai
well done. I'm in 'brough on Monday, shame u won't have it by then!
Congratulations, remember to post some pics at the dealers. I am still waiting the call...............
Excellent news - the car is so worth the wait, I'm sure you'll be pleased!
Hope you can get hold of it quick! My dealer really dragged their heels . . .
Thanks everyone. Yeah, it is going to be a very long weekend, I may just hibernate for a few days so it goes a little more quickly!
May see you out on the road earlier than I thought Colin Very Happy

Daigriff, no the dealer isn't doing the detailing. A local company (Total Detailing International) is going into the dealership to do the work there. They are going to use the Gtechniq products and basically do everything, paintwork, trim, leather, glass, carpets, wheels etc. (takes something like 5 hrs). Not cheap at £499, but hopefully worth it, and they do give a 5 year gaurantee, I'll let you know how it goes.

The car will be around 3.5 weeks earlier than the revised delivery date (after the delays), so hopefully that's good news for a lot more of the forum members who are still waiting and suffering - good luck!
