Having trawled the various forums on the web I have become very concerned about the whole LR buying experience, to this end I have been trying to establish the status of the varying degrees of delays being experienced by not only myself but other members of this forum.

Today, having time on my hands and for once being in my home town/country, I took a drive to my local LR dealer to enquire as to the status of my order. Unfortunately my dealer rep was otherwise engaged with another customer, however a colleague did attend to my queries and addressed my concerns in a timely and professional manner, explaining the reasons for varying delays and expected timeframe for build etc. this in itself is refreshing as we all know that sometimes it can be difficult to obtain information.

I left the dealership completely satisfied with the explanations and information provided, and, although my chosen spec will not be built or delivered until the new year I am still looking forward to taking delivery of what I consider to be a ground-breaking piece of technology !!

P.S. My original dealer rep did telephone me later today to "touch base" and has promised to keep me in the loop should anything change Smile

Thanks Mark and Mark for the info !!
