Full Version: Replacement Front Door and Now Not Locking and Windows not Working

Hi all,

I've just replaced the front driver's door after a really nasty knock - no bodyshop would touch it without replacing the door.

I've done it myself and it went really smoothly. I had to refit the wiring loom as the connections werent universal. All connections are tight.

The lock has not been changed over.

Now, the door doesn't lock and the electric windows don't work. The lock, unlock button works on all other doors.

I've disconnected the neutral terminal on the battery to attempt to reset it.

Have I missed something? Do I need to swap the lock? Does a fault code need clearing on a diagnostics machine?

Thanks in advance.[/size]
So you moved the original wiring loom in the old door over to the new door? Think i'd be tempted to try the original lock, just patched in place of the new lock, to see if starts to work.
