I've tracked it down

It's coming from the passenger sun visor, I've managed to make it go by pulling the visor down an inch, not a long term solution but I'm happy that it's not a major "behind the dashboard" job. Hopefully good news for all as it suggests a small QC problem with a minor component rather than the actual build quality of the car.

Should make the conversation with the dealer easier too.
