my 2012 had the dreaded "blackening RANGE ROVER letters" problem. when it was under warranty i complained and they replace "RANGE" on the front. gee, thanks guys. ROVER on the front and the whole thing on the back eventually got nasty (duh). i got sick of how crappy it looked and debadged the whole shebang last weekend. the EVOQUE and LAND ROVER badges on opposite sides of the rear license plate remain, but that's it. i have to finish clay-bar'ing the residue off, but it'll be clean in the end.
shame on LR for allowing this sort of idiocy - and for not fixing it. sheesh.

My rear lettering corroded, and they replaced without issue, in-fact I only asked for the V and they said they replaced the V, but they weren't happy with the colour match so replaced the ROVER, and then replaced the RANGE too, to keep the colour match!
Unfortunately my Front has now corroded, but will be doing that myself when I get some time, made the banana template myself.
