iPad compatibility

After some help and advice about connecting an iPad to the evoque.

I am using the supplied white apple lead connected to the iPod USB port, but it seems not to be registering it is attached? The iPad changes the screen to show accessory connected but that's it so unable to play any music on the iPad.

I am missing something simple or is it not compatible? Any help would be appreciated, wise comments also accepted Very Happy

Thanks

RE: iPad compatibility

This may be a silly question, but have you pressed the iPod button on the Evoque screen next to radio,DAB etc.
