windshield rubber deteriorating

the windshield rubber on the upper part of the windshield were it meets the roof has started to shrink/wrinkle/rot.............can this be replaced? seems like an integral part of the glass.

and oh....its always 30-33 centigrade here.

Not a permanent solution but you can apply protectant that offers UV protection.
